Teachers Thanking Teachers!

Hi, friends!  I'm teaming up with fifteen fabulous intermediate bloggers to share what we're thankful for and spread some sunshine!  We are SO THANKFUL for all of YOU...our readers... the people who keep us coming back to blog and share snapshots from our teaching lives!  We know how time-consuming teaching can be, so we are giving away a few goodies as a token of our appreciation. Thanks for loving on your kids, making the next generation even better, and for following us too.

So, aside from other teachers, what else am I thankful for?  Seriously, first and foremost, I am thankful for a wonderful and merciful Heavenly Father.  I'm also incredibly thankful for my husband, Mr. Wonderful.  He is so thoughtful, understanding, funny, and he's pretty good-looking too, if I do say so myself!  ;)  Just like most everyone, my list goes on and on.  My cup runneth over.  I'm thankful for a job that I LOVE, a sweet family. two lovable pups, a roof over my head, food on my table, and ideas in my head.  Of course, that's just scratching the surface.  Life is good.  I am so thankful for all of life's blessings...even when life is hard... and blessings come disguised as hardships!  Everything always seems to work out in the end somehow.

If you've been following me for a little while, you're probably already aware that I switched positions this year, and now I'm teaching language arts and social studies to high-achieving third and fourth graders.  I absolutely love it, and I am so thankful that my principal thought I'd be a good fit.  I absolutely love my students and the challenge that this new position presents each and every day.  I strive to view every change is an opportunity to grow and become an even better teacher.  This year just happened to usher in an unprecedented amount of change on top of my switch (as I've mentioned before), so to say that I have been "busy" and "preoccupied" would be putting it lightly.  With that said, I am so thankful for TpT resources!  I've been creating goodies whenever I can, but I just can't do it all, and now that I am teaching two grade levels, I find myself frequenting TpT more than ever.  It has been a huge sanity-saver, and I am so thankful for all of the talented teachers out there sharing resources and making my life a little easier.  :)
