Wild Ones Wax Museum: Breathing Life into Critter Research!

I just recently mentioned how I'm getting ready to launch my Biography Wax Museum Activities with my fourth grade kiddos, and since I'm teaching dual grade levels, I wanted to be able to do a different wax museum with my third grade kiddos.  Since we're reading "Penguin Chick" and talking about animal adaptations, I thought it would be a perfect lead-in for some critter research!  I cannot wait to transform my classroom into a zoo and hear all about animal classifications, adaptations, food webs, habitats, threats, and fun facts.  (Technically, I am departmentalized, and I teach language arts and social studies, but that doesn't mean I can't sneak in some science every now and again! Am I right?!)  I can't wait to see my students get all dressed up and present their research in a really engaging format! 

This 188 page Wild Ones Wax Museum pack is set up just like my Biography Wax Museum as you can see! :)  I have included a TON of critter options (including insects, arachnids, and crustaceans) to allow you to customize this pack for your own kiddos and your own needs.  It contains literally one hundred different creatures that your kiddos can choose to feature... to be exact.   Feel free to pick and choose!  I just wanted to be able to offer a wide variety of choices and templates to my kiddos, and I think this will be just the ticket!
