Reading Street Spelling Lists & Daily 5 Updates

It's been a fairly productive day in the Nickerson household.  I finally managed to create spelling lists for our reading program.  I am SO excited about it!  I plan on using the black and white version to send home with my kiddos and post on our team website for parents.  I'm also going to make several copies on colored paper to put in a folder in my Word Work center.  I will rotate the words in and out as we switch lists.  Lastly, I plan to use the colored version to post on my Focus Wall.  :)   I printed these lists out on cardstock, and I plan on laminating them for durability!   I still need to tackle the vocabulary lists, but I am SO done for the day.  My hubs is home from work, so it's time to eat hang out with my favorite person ever.  :)  Too sappy??

Also, I updated the Daily 5 Posters and Rotation Cards in my store.   (Just a reminder: This file an "unofficial adaptation of the Daily 5 by Gail Boushey & Joan Moser". It is not endorsed by the 2 Sisters. To access official resources, check out http://www.thedailycafe.com/)

Now that my favorite clip art company has created more diverse kiddos within the reading theme, I've given the file a more multicultural facelift.  :)  Also, per request (and a result of my fluent sister-in-law's fabulous interpreting)    To access the updates, click HERE.   Hasta luego, my friends.  Have a fabulous evening!

  4. I get so jazzed when my hubs comes home too. :) Especially in the summer when I don't have the crazy stress of school, and we can just hang out. Your spelling lists and new Daily 5 resources look wonderful!

    1. I am so glad that I was able to help shave off some of your planning time. I am working on vocabulary words, but I haven't gotten to a point where I like a design yet. I will post them when I finish too! :)

  9. How can I access the file for the lists? This is my first year teaching third grade and I would love to have these lists already created.

    1. Click the blue words that say black and white version or colored version. You can download them from there!
