A Task Card FREEBIE...

Confession: I'm a little late to jump onto the task card bandwagon, but so far it has been a nice added layer for my classroom.  I haven't had the time to create ANY, but thankfully there are a TON on the Internet and TpT.  {Thank you all for helping me to have a life outside of school!}

At any rate, if you have been reading my posts for any amount of time, you have probably heard me talk about simplicity over and over again.  I honestly barely have the time to make the copies I HAVE to make on a day to day basis. I really don't want to try to cram in more sheets for task cards... and I also don't want to have to constantly try to inventory how many pages of each set are left.  Nightmarish!  So, because I am a big fan of simplicity, I created a process for my kiddos to work through that will stay consistent with any task card or skill.  If you want to take a look to see if you can use this with your kiddos, head over to snag the freebie! :)

I laminated a few copies of this sheet, and I store them inside of a plastic storage tote for easy access.  I slip each set of task cards in plastic sandwich bags, and keep them inside of the tub.  It's nothing fancy, but like I said, I am a fan of simplicity, and this works for me.  :)   Happy Teaching!

  1. I did this with famous people from our state in fourth grade. We invited all the other classes and offered state specific foods. I LOVED it! My kids did multi-genre projects with them and were awesome!

  4. Stop...!!!! You are single-handedly making me poor!! Just kidding! I love this unit. It is too cute. I have always heard about the Wax Museum concept and I do my own version- a traveling museum from classroom to classroom, but this looks fantastic and would be a great addition to what I currently do. Thank you!! Eileen Griffin
