Landforms: Better Late Than NEVER! {FLASH SALE!}

Don't you just LOVE Scrappin' Doodles!  I DO!  I requested a landforms set a while ago, and they graciously created clip art to create a little bundle for my classroom!  Now, it took a little while, but I am SO appreciative of the hard work that went into creating this, because I have searched high and low for clip art that would make me happy.  What I was looking for did not exist!  Thank you sooooo much ladies! :)

Personally,  I'm getting ready to jump into a government unit for this nine-weeks, so it's a little late for me, but luckily I had been working on getting everything "just so" all along.  I wanted to be ready to plop the clip art in and teach the next day, if it worked out that way.  All I was waiting on was the clip art, and I found it yesterday while I was stalking browsing their website.  Like most of my Social Studies supplemental files, this will probably grow and expand with time, but as it stands, this is a 67 pager! This is another file that I could work on forever and never feel "done".  I have to be honest with you though, I have a hunch that this file will grow with time...  I promise to keep you in the loop as the file gets revised and added onto!

It currently includes posters for mountains, canyons, lakes, volcanoes, plains, hills, valleys, rivers, lakes, islands, oceans, and deserts.  {I may make a special request for a peninsula and a plateau, but I have no idea how long it would take to get that done, so I am going to upload it for now.  I can always go back and tweak it later!} The bundle also "A Globetrotter's Guide to Landforms" which is a student version of the posters where they have to write in the definitions themselves.  It has a few blank templates to that you can expand on the study with more landforms!  It also includes flashcards, a "field guide" that shows each landform with its name, a landforms matching center, a landforms fact and opinion center, a Landforms KWL, a Landforms Can/Have/Are map, Venn Diagrams to compare similar/tricky landforms, a synthesizing worksheet (to squeeze in a little Reader's Workshop), and a few printables for the "The Earth is Like an Apple" cut-away craftivity.  I don't have any patterns uploaded at the time, but I can scan them in once I get back to my classroom!  These are just supplemental resources to help your students get acquainted with landforms in a more hands-on way.  If you're interested, you can take a peek HERE

In other news, in other news, I'm having a flash sale TODAY ONLY!  Pop on by to score 20% off!
