Poetry Unit Request... Fulfilled!

One of my TpT followers asked me to put together a poetry unit.  I have been working feverishly on putting together a unit ever since.  This 40-pager is jam-packed with ideas to celebrate poetry, ideas to study the "poet's craft" with mentor texts, ideas for fluency practice, and TONS more.  If you are interested in checking it out, you can click on my preview file to view thumbnails HERE.  Here's another sneak peek!

    Wow this is a fabulous collection! I'll be checking it out on TpT this week because I am ending my year with poetry. It would be so nice for the kids to walk away with an anthology of their own writing and/or favorite poems.
