Resolutions for Downtime! :)

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to have more free time.  Let's face it, as teachers, we don't really have typical 9-5 jobs.  It's more like 8-10... if you're lucky.  :)  With that said, this year, I want to make the most out of my free time and spend a little less time on the computer working on school stuff!  Since grad school is over... for now... I just might be able to accomplish everything I hope to check off of the proverbial list this year!  In 2013, I plan on making more time for ME... because as I said yesterday... balance is my biggest goal!  I want to enjoy the relationships I have and live life to the fullest!  Even though we have really fulfilling jobs, we can get really worn down if we don't take the time to recharge our batteries with hobbies, family, and friends!!!  This is my plan:

Now, it's your turn to share your plans!  Head on over to my sweet friend Amy's blog to link up!  :)

    1. Thanks, Amanda! Yes, that's my decorating style! I may be a tad OCD and compulsive about decorating! I LOVE it! I always feel weird sharing too many pictures of my house though! Maybe a home decor blog is in order! Ha!

  8. I hear ya! I love my job (I don't even really consider it a job but my mission field), but sometimes you just have to "get away from it all" so you will enjoy it even more!
    Happy New Year,

  9. Those are great "downtime" goals! I like you with reddish hair, and Lorelai does look like a sweetie! More time with our animals is good for our health...not that we need any convincing!

    Happy New Year!

    1. Thanks, Halle! :) I just love my pup to pieces! I also like my reddish hair better. After going blonde for about two months, I learned that the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Now I have to WORK to get it back to my natural color. Craziness! :)
