WOW! My children love this book. They would love for new things to be added to the classroom and be able to take a piece of Eric Carle home with them (bookmarks). They notice the little changes in the room, but I would love to let them help me decorate the room and bulletin board with this set.

Just joined Carson Dellosa on facebook. Eric Carla's book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" has been a favorite of mine for years. I love to hear my students recite parts of the story and see their drawings. What a beautiful display to bring out student's language and creativity.

Followed! :) I would use this set in April when we start our Life Cycles Unit from Foss. This would be a fabulous way to introduce my little catapillars when they arrive! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't have a FB page, but in my speech class I have been really trying hard to incorporate literature with the speech sessions. I began a hungry caterpillar lesson recently with everything from receptive language to expressive language and articulation including some following directions activities. This pack could really help the kids get more into it with the caterpillar actually looking like the one in the book rather than my non-artistic attempt of doing making one!
