A Little Goose Egg of Wisdom...

Today,  I was thinking so much about all of the things I needed to do before my kiddos arrived that I literally slammed my car door into my face.  Luckily, I only have a mild concussion and a pretty little goose egg!  What did I glean from this experience?  Take it one day at a time, one thing at a time. This is great advice, but it's so hard to do!

  3. Oh no...that stinks...but I couldn't agree with you more! I often feel so overwhelmed but we all have to realize that we sometimes need to walk away and know that it will still be there when we come back!!

  6. Oh My WORD! Be careful. I think us teachers must all have that multi-tasking gene. We overflow our minds with all of the bazillion things we need to accomplish for the day. Take good care of yourself! This is also something I would TOTALLY do, as well.

  9. oh my gosh. I hope you are ok. Love the smarty pants.

It would have started a total pity party if I did that. Can you picture that silent crying and anguish?

Good advice for me since yesterday I left the inside lights on in my car in the morning and couldn't get my car to start after school....SLOW DOWN!

  10. Oh, Amanda, I hope you are feeling better. OUCH!
I think we are all "running on empty" these days.
Yesterday I tried to get in my car after school. You guessed it: That was NOT my car. I got away fast before the true owner could find me!
