A few teacher friends have had a few questions about the AR resource, so here it goes! I did create this to complement the AR program, because I wanted to add some pizzazz and depth to it. However, I do think that the majority of the pages could be used with or without the program. I think it could work with Scholastic's Reading Counts program and the Scholastic Reading Inventory... so I created a few new pages with "lexiles" instead of "levels"... and I created a pretty standard reading log so that you could use it to promote simply reading voraciously! I also added a few pages with blank headers and a more general A.R. award so that you could use it with reading logs rather than a quiz-based program too! It's really focusing on being a strategic reader by using the reading strategies more than anything else!
I'm trying to make this bundle as user friendly as possible, and I'm also trying to work in some flexibility in the event that programs change for me.... or you... along the way. I don't want this to be totally useless for you if you ever stop using A.R. Seriously, I think most of the bundle could be used with or without it to motivate readers, like I said. If you've already purchased the file, please let us know what you think! Do you think you could use most of it in other ways?! I think even the numbers could be used to number math tubs or reading baskets or just about anything if you really wanted to! Anyway, the updated version of AR: Amazing Readers! is on TpT, so make sure to grab it! There are nine more pages to choose from! :) Also, if you want, help yourself to a copy of the generic awards from the packet! Have a good one!

I use AR with my kinder kiddos and I can definitely adapt this for them! And who doesn't love Dr. Seuss graphics? Too cute! :)
