Turning the Page...

I keep seeing fabulous classroom photos popping up all over the blogosphere. While you are all making your classrooms glitter and shine, this is what I'm doing to mine.  Pretty, isn't it?  :)   Hopefully I'll be in my new classroom in a week or two!  Fingers crossed...

  4. I have a room I can't get into because we're still waiting for the carpets to get cleaned. What's worse is that they don't even know when they will be coming. It's so frustrating because I HAVE the time NOW! I won't have it at all once we report back to school.

  6. I know that feeling...very bittersweet! I cleaned out my classroom this past June and I'm still waiting to hear when I can see my two new classrooms (I'm traveling between 2 schools). I still have NO clue what they look like so it's hard to get my materials ready!

Good luck, can't wait to see pictures of your new space! :)

  11. Nothing helps to keep you fresh than changing things up. I have always found switching jobs to be very invigorating. I hope that you find that to be true for you, too!

  12. I am sending a lot of love your way! Just want you to know that you are not alone. I haven't been in yet either because there is a possibility I might switch rooms. Once I know for sure then I will either be setting up my current room OR packing and moving. Sigh. Those bloggers with the lovely looking rooms do make me jealous - but just wait, soon our rooms will be AMAZING! They will!!!!!

  13. I'm jealous of your nice big dollie. It was not fun trying to load and unload boxes without one...finally I had to go scavenging. It makes a world of difference and your back will thank you...I know!!

  17. Knowing you have all the work ahead of you can be a drag, but knowing that you have a classroom ahead of you is exciting! My entire classroom is packed up so I could get new carpets over the summer. (My carpet was older than me!)So I too am antsy to get into my room, but know it will be worth the wait! Can't wait to see what you do with it when its done!
